Dr. Richard Newburg

Dr. Richard NewburgDr. Richard Newburg retired in January 2016. 

Dr. Richard Newburg specialized in prosthodontics and implant dentistry. He was board eligible with the American Board of Prosthodontics and a graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine.  Dr. Newburg received his Masters Degree in prosthodontics from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He taught for many years at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine and had been involved in dental biology and clinical research. Dr. Newburg had also been involved in studying the environmental impact of modern dental practices.

Dr. Newburg had extensive experience in the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Problems (TMD/TMJ) and oral rehabilitation using fixed and removable prostheses.

Dr. Newburg was the past president of the Brookline Dental Society. He had senior membership with the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Newburg was a whole health oriented dentist. He is an organic gardener.
