For over a decade, the staff of Longwood Dental Group has personally donated the funds, shopped, made baskets and distributed Thanksgiving Baskets to the Brookline Community.
For the last 2 years we have donated Gift Cards for Thanksgiving Meals instead of our traditional baskets due to Covid Restrictions. But this year the baskets have returned! We were able to create our Traditional Thanksgiving Baskets for our Charities to distribute to their families!

Freedom Day USA – 2019
Another Freedom Day Event at Longwood Dental Group, serving Veterans in our community. Smiles all around! Longwood Dental Group offered free dental services to our military veterans in honor of Freedom Day USA.
The first Freedom Day USA was held on 9/12/2013 and continues annually. This national event was started by The Platinum Circle, an elite group of US dentists, of which Dr. Berdj Kiladjian principal of Brookline’s Longwood Dental Group is a member. The day was designed as a Thank You to our active military & our veterans.
5th Annual Free Dental Care Event
Dentistry From The Heart April 27, 2019
Dr. Berdj Kiladjian hosted his 5th Annual Free Dentistry Event on Saturday, April 27, 2019.
70 patients were seen on a “first come, first served” basis and received free extractions, fillings and cleanings. Longwood Dental Group’s general dentists, specialists, hygienists and dental assistants donated their time and resources to provide free dental care.
Free Oral Cancer Screenings April 2019
Dr. Berdj Kiladjian is proud to announce that Longwood Dental Group has partnered with The Oral Cancer Foundation in honor of Oral Cancer Awareness Month and will be offering Free Oral Cancer Screenings to the public in April.
Oral cancer is not a rare disease. It kills one person every hour of every day in the US, and 100 new individuals will be diagnosed each day with oral cancer. These staggering statistics make these events crucial, as awareness of the disease and its risk factors in the US is so low.
Please don’t miss out on this opportunity for a free oral cancer screening.

Kenya Connect Donation Drive
The Longwood Dental Group donated 150 toothbrushes to the Kenya Connect Project. Students from Simmons College will deliver them in March.

Bringing Healthy Smiles to Armenia’s Children
At Longwood Dental Group, community extends beyond the town we work in or the neighbors we greet. We believe that it is also an honor and responsibility to make a difference in the lives of the people of Armenia and Karabakh.
“We don’t change children’s lives overnight,” said Dr. Berdj Kiladjian. “We do this quietly, day by day. Preventive dentistry is not dramatic.”
Dr.Kiladjian chairs the Board of Directors for Hand In Hand, a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to the improvement of the health and social welfare of the Artsakh population, focusing on dental care and preventative education in Armenia and Karabakh.
The organization started in 1998 with the establishment of their first dental clinic in the war-devastated historic town of Shushi. Hand In Hand has successfully built six dental clinics in different regional centers of Artsakh, a mobile unit for rural Artsakh and one women’s health clinic in the Capital, Stepanakert.
In October 2014, the Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan awarded Dr.Kiladjian with the “Gratitude” medal for his services to the Nagorno Karabagh Republic.
Dr.Kiladjian continues his efforts in Armenia and Karabakh and with spearheading the direction of Hand In Hand to improve dental health care in this war-torn area.
Project Bread – Walk For Hunger
Project Bread – Walk For HungerIn May, more than 40,000 walkers and 2,000 volunteers, representing every community in Massachusetts, join together on the Boston Common for the annual Walk for Hunger.
The 20-mile walk, which travels through Boston, Brookline, Newton, Watertown and Cambridge, raises awareness of hunger in Massachusetts, and raises funds to build sustainable, community-based solutions to address the problem.
Our wonderful staff here at Longwood Dental Group generously donate their time and energies to this fine organization.
